Mauro works at Italian National Institute of Statistics (Istat) since 2001. An expert in information technology, after many years in IT management, he currently acts as project manager at Central Directorate for strategic planning, guidance of the National Statistical System, institutional relations and international affairs.

Mauro is a highly driven PMI certified PMP(r) credential holder and IT Project Manager with 8 years’ experience and expertise on innovative project management methodologies and is the project manager responsible for the strategic dashboard project for monitoring the implementation status of the projects, with the aim of providing the elements to support decision-making at the management level.
He deals with training, in fact he has been a lecturer in various missions for the support and training at the statistical Institutes in several developing countries.

With a degree in Economics at the University La Sapienza of Rome, he also obtained a Masters in E-learning at the Roma Tre University and an Executive Master in IT Governance & Management at LUISS Business School; he then enrolled and obtained his Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification.
